In upper photo note: (1) clean white head with low forehead, head appearing rather delicate in comparison with body-size; (2) 'snouty-looking', pointed bill with olive-grey base, black subterminal band and pale tip; (3) small, dark, beady-looking eye; (4) grey streaking at base of neck extending towards breast sides, creating a 'shawl' which contrasts with clean white upper neck; (5) rather uniform greater coverts with pale tips, and blackish spatulate spotting on retained first-year scapulars; (6) retained outer tertial with solid black centre and neatly defined white margin; (7) long primary extension; (8) long greyish-flesh legs with evident tibia.
In lower photos note: head and bill profile and hind-neck 'shawl'; relatively clean and white underwing; clean white vent and undertail-coverts; very black tail-band with 'diffused' inner edge and with strongly contrasting clean white base to tail and uppertail-coverts.
