There are four records of this rare visitor from the prairies of North America, two from Warwickshire and two from Staffordshire.
Draycote Water. Adult. November 6th, 2002. (British Birds 96: 574).
(The Draycote individual was also observed at Stanford Reservoir, Leicestershire/Northamptonshire, November 3rd - 5th, 2002.)

Blithfield Reservoir. Adult. August 9th & 10th. 2006.
Chasewater. Adult. From July 15th 2010 and appearing intermittently until
July 30th. Then at:
Gailey Reservoirs. July 31st & August 1st 2010.
