These photos of a first-winter Glaucous Gull at Drayton Bassett, taken by John Mallinson, show well the heavily-built body; robust bill with fleshy-pink basal 70% & with a neatly defined blackish tip; and the relatively short extension of the primary tips beyond the tip of the tail.
