Juvenile Common Gull (left-hand bird) with Black-headed Gulls. Easily aged by overall brownish hue and scaly pattern of scapulars and coverts. Note that, although stockier, the overall size of this individual does not exceed that of the adjacent Black-headed Gull, while its bill is shorter.
