Juvenile ('1W') Glaucous Gull

S. Nuttall

A juvenile ('first-winter') Glaucous Gull photographed at Belvide Reservoir. This individual shows how 'creamy' juveniles can become by February in their second calendar year. The dark iris and solid black tip to the bill remain clear indications of age.
