Bill pattern in 2W Herring Gull is rather variable. In this individual note the sharply contrasted flesh-pink base and black tip, creating a pattern recalling 1W Glaucous Gull. This pattern is relatively infrequent but perhaps more regular in nominate argentatus than in argenteus.
