Note second-generation tertials, plain grey feathers appearing in mantle and scapulars, and dropped outer median coverts. This is a typical LBB moulting from first-summer to second winter. However, birds in their second and third calendar-years can be very variable in the extent to which they obtain plain, dark grey (adult-like) feathers and some individuals can be difficult to age.
