Adult trapped at Throckmorton Landfill in January 1997 and identified as intermedius. In right-hand photo note blackish mantle compared with adjacent graellsii. Shade of upperparts approaches in blackness that of nominate fuscus, as also do lack of contrast between primaries and wing coverts and single mirror (on p10).
